At least 16 people have been killed and hundreds injured in anti-government protests in Kenya. Demonstrators are disillusioned by economic stagnation, corruption, and high taxes. They are also angry about the killing of a 31-year old blogger while in police custody earlier this month. Kenya's Interior Minister Kipchumba Murkomen accused protesters of attempting to overthrow the government. Rights group "Vocal Africa" says at least four bodies were brought to a morgue with gunshot wounds.
